The Pair ~ October16th

The Reservoir, Seekonk

After a week and a half of rain....the sun came out for a bit today. Since our basement flooded we didn't have much time to do anything recreational, but at least managed to escape for a bit to see some local bodies of water and how high they'd risen. This pair of swans moved so gracefully.

I love the way they're aligned in a row. They don't seem to be bothered by the rising water. But why should they? They can float. My thoughts are with you. I've been fortunate to never have lived in a flood zone although I've visited many and seen the devastation.

Oh Lori, I was thinking of you & the floods. Good to know your okay, though any water damage is difficult to live with. Do you have the remote control that makes these swim in formation :>)

I like the formation here. I hope things dry out for you quickly.

Seems like everyone is flooded. This is beautiful and I know the male is the one in back.
