sunset and snowpile ~ January 26th

I may have broken a PaD rule. I actually took this image on my way home from work yesterday evening. When I spotted this huge front end loader, finally at rest, near its gigantic piles of snow cleared from the blizzard, it looked like an ideal chance for a good image. With the sun setting behind the whole scene, I had to stop and take a shot. Since the cold temps we're still having aren't letting up, none of this snow is melting anytime soon.

Great view. Not only is it beautiful, but it shows how much work all this snow can cause. (Or how much it helpe the economy by providing jobs.) Wonderful idea.

That's some sky! I like the silhouette of the digger against it. As for PaD "rules", my wife asked me the other night why I had to take a photo at 10pm and not simply use a really nice photo I had taken the day before. It was difficult for me to explain to her why the photo had to be taken that day. It is getting increasingly difficult for me to explain why .... to me!

Beautiful sky and I like the machine silouhetted against it. Someone asked me on my Pad yesterday where all the snow went. This is how they get rid of it. :)

That's a brilliant sky, Lori. If the PaD police come after you it's because Gary split on us..LOL !! (mine was out of bounds too, today. )
