Northern Cardinal (Male )

I was really pushing things trying to get this shot and the IQ
shows that. There were several male cardinals perched some distance
from me and it was a dreary day. I used a 500mm lens with a 2X TC and
had the iso at 1600.

I love the male cardinals with the snowy backdrop... not bad for pushing it - I know how hard it is to get these guys at times
