Just below Thompson peak on the right is a true glacier, possibly in it's last decade of life after many thousands of years. On the left is Bear Pass, then Caesar Peak, and Thompson Peak (9000ft) on the right. View is from Grizzly Lake.

i dunnoh deems , i have read that the glaciers in the trinities and on shasta ARE ACTUALLY GROWING !!! -----> its some odd effect of the so called global warming .

These are some of the most beautiful shots I have ever seen. Not only is the scenery beautiful but you have brought the colors and movement to life. I believe that viewing your photos is probably just a good or better than actually being there.
