Steve bought this truck for $150. Steve was a true believer and student in Native American lifestyle and culture. In March 1975, over college spring break, Steve and I drove this truck and a teepee to Mesa Verde National Park. The truck broke a valve spring and exhaust pipe in Missouri, and we fixed it on the road. It was an incredible adventure. I often wonder where Steve Darnell is today.
