I rode my bike to Buck Creek many times in the early 1970s, and every time I stopped here for a soda and candy bar. In 1993 I rode here again, and told the merchant this story, and she said she would have sold me the treats. I don't know if it is still open, but to see it again was worth the bike ride. The ride to Buck Creek, Indiana is continues to be one of my favorite bike rides, over 35 years later. I rode my bike here again for this photo.
