My tiny campsite at the end of the Dillon Creek trail

The Dillon creek trail was built in the mid-1800s (~1860)during the peak gold mining era along the Klamath River. I don't know why this trail goes no further than the 7 miles to this tiny campsite, but the incredible skillful trail construction of the Chinese workers has lasted for 150 years. The rock work to bench this trail that crawls along Dillon Creeks cliffs and canyon walls to the North Fork is extraordinary even for current trail standards. I looked for Bigfoot, but no luck again. Another incredible full moon adventure for Kelly and me!
