gf1 vs 5D: dof and bokeh

This is to compare the lenses in terms of depth of field and bokeh.
the focus point is on "canon" logo. :)

Of course, the 20mm lumix has no f1.4. However, since we compare the two kits, it's interesting to see what the 35mm L can bring. The bokeh of the 20mm lumix is very appealing to my eyes.
At f1.4, the ef lens show a wonderful bokeh, smooth and silky, absolutely lovely. It also exhibits some chromatic aberation, visible in the 100% crops.
The dof on both lenses is quite similar at f1.7 (lumix) and f1.8 (canon), with still a small edge to canon. Probably, the f1.7 of the lumix corresponds, in terms of dof, to f 2.0-2.2 of the canon.
Update: as noted on the dpreview canon forum, the dof depends very much on the focus distance. I will update this gallery with images from a longer distance as soon as I take them.
Also to note the precise focus of the pany and the excellent sharpness starting with f1.7.
