I grow the passion flower vine every year to attract the Gulf Fritallery butterfly so they lay their eggs on the leaves. After the catepillar and cocoon stages they morph into beautiful orange butterflies to feast on lantana. Then they migrate. After the passion flower blooms a soft orange fleshy fruit grows. The seeds inside fall to the ground and start new vines.
