After the war, several items are on display on the ground of the Reunification Palace such as this former South Vietnamese F-5 fighter. Note the crossed out on the South Vietnamese Flag and the Star and Bar. Also the two famous tanks that rammed the front gate marking the end of the war. On the roof of the palace lies a UH-1 helicopter.
