I really am a sucker for this kind of photo, Long. I like the way the shot starts, with the shadows fanning out from a few trees, then longer shadows and greater depth of ice-blue, and finally the hill turns down and the shadow starts to become all there is - and on the diagonal, too. The resulting overall composition is so casual, and so neatly done, I'm delighted and impressed. V.
