Cajamarca (12)


The name comes from the Caxamarcan Indians that inhabited this region. Cajamarca it's modern name, is a province located in the northern highlands on a deep valley between the Central and Western Andean Cordillera, at an altitude of 8,250 feet above sea level and 900 kilometers from Lima.
