This ISO 100 images was done using a process I am working on that hails back to the good old film days. Take the color image of the above, place a new layer on top of it, fill it with one of our familiar black-and-white filter colors, reduce the opacity to 85% and flatten the layers. Desaturate and restore levels and contrast. The overall effect is a richer b&w image in my opinion. Try it yourself. My original colors of choice were red and orange, but Carl Rytterfalk suggested magenta, which was used here. His idea is even better with smoother tones in the sky.
