Thanks for the correction. I am unschooled in the classification of cars. I looked up the definitions in Websters Dictionary and this is what I found:
Roadster: an automobile with an open body that seats two and has a folding fabric top and often a luggage compartment or rumble seat in the rear
Coupe: a 2-door automobile often seating only two persons; also : one with a tight-spaced rear seat
I also looked up Hot Rod: an automobile rebuilt or modified for high speed and fast acceleration
So in conclusion, all roadsters are coupes but not all coupes are roadsters, and either of them could be hot rods, as long as they have been tweaked to go fast.

sorry to burst your bubble but the roadster is a coupe, roadster's don't have a roof
