Nice. My dad used to buy this in a box but it had peanuts all through it.

But how long did it take the fly to walk the length of the bamboo, assuming it started at one end, and assuming it made no stops along the way to admire the view? Please factor in the growth rate mentioned in your comment.

This is really cool stuff...from all the sedimentary stuff it seems like this was underwater back in the day?
By my calculations the bamboo took roughly 2.3 seconds to grow to that length, and met the train coming from the opposite direction near Dubuque.
