That water ain't warm! Probably 50 degrees F. I'd guess...

I guess my thinking the water is cold is due to the dark, choppy surfaced of the water in the background. I'm used to finding cooler water temps when the ocean is dark and the wind has whipped the surface like this.

Response to comments: D.O.F.: a very shallow depth of field would have been ideal, but I didn't have time to arrange it. That this is a beach is an astute observation, if you get my drift. Does "3-D" refer to depth of perception or perception of depth? I made a point of looking for evidence that pointed to the concept of cold water, but saw none.
