The Colorado River's meandering route creates this trivia: a line down the middle of
this view crosses the river three times. First time: just beyond the bright grassy ground
in the foreground. Second time: at the location of "Jabba the Hutt," the tilted red ridge
on the left horizon. Third time: behind Pyramid Butte, the little pyramid-shaped knob
in the distance, just left of the snowy La Sal Mountains. This shot was taken from
the rock bench next to the mesa's ridge and looks to the east.
Jabba the Hutt is discussed at another photo.
