A shot that might appeal to exfoliation freaks

Round Mountain in Castle Valley, Utah

It looks as if the outer surface of this rock is peeling away from the actions of
freezing and thawing. Such peeling is called exfoliation. Shot taken on or slightly
below the summit ridge. Markings on the bamboo stick are one foot (30cm) apart.
