This is another view of the dipole antenna, displaying both radiators and
the connecting portion (the rust does not inhibit signal quality). The
shadowy area is a former railroad cut that is used as a signal amplifier
(see previous photo). The placement, size, and orientation of the radiators
control the signal. The antenna is disguised as a gas pipline to protect
it from curious vandals. If rural ya-hoos get too close to this device
when it's operating, they get to experience their final earthly transmission.
