Blue light special?

Ontario, Oregon

Yours truly in a motel, trying desperately to avoid a hiddeous ear-to-ear photo smile. The crude attempt to lessen the glare of the camera's flash should not be mistaken for a K-Mart "Blue Light Special."

when I was in North Carolina as a kid, I was served anomaly grits with breakfast...

Ian, I appear to be slightly out of focus because of the effect of the blue light in the picture: it emanates from a chrono-synclastic infundibulum. I deliberately lied: I am actually severely out-of-focus; that I represent a person at all is a transformational anomaly (a distant cousin of a magnetic anomaly). Your comment is the first one I have received that has spiraled out from Betelgeuse! Does the American version of you live in Newport, Rhode Island?

Revealed at last! You're Winston Niles Rumfoord in the flesh appearing.OK,so its a wild supposition, but how else do you explain the obviously out of focus aspect to your personage?

Don't feel bad Dave, I part my hair on the wrong side too.....(at least you have'ne parted with your hair!)

Jeff, I've heard that hair-parting is based on the way the hair "spirals" away from the top of the back of one's head. It seems to be true for me---it would be a losing battle to try parting on the other side.

Hi Dave. This is a great reflection of self. Nice flash, nice camera, you part your hair on the same side as me which is the opposite side most other people part their hair. I remember the question when I got my first hair cut. “which side do you want the part on ?” my answer was this side and I am right handed so the part has always been in the right side. I have tried to change it but the feeling is odd. Welcome to the world ofhttp://www.pbase.com where the photos are great and many. Slug is a wonderful person for establishing this photo web site and his assistant Emily is wonderful too. My self and one other person use the camera Sony Mavica FD 100 so most of the photos on pbase are mine and you can view random photos athttp://www.pbase.com/cameras/sony/mavica_fd100 and keep up the great photo work Dave.
