In late March of 2017 I happily drove from Maricopa, Arizona to the REI store in Tempe. Forgot what I intended to buy. This is what I saw when I stepped into the doorway. A briefly-worded sign on the window said something like "We've moved to Chandler Pavilions on Ray Road."

So I drove to Ray Road in Chandler and looked all over for Chandler Pavilions and the REI store. It was a wild goose chase, but after about a half hour of driving, looking, and asking for directions, I found the REI store. It wasn't on Ray Road at all, but on North 54th Street, which runs perpendicular to Ray Road. I disavow any knowledge of cursing the maker of the "We've moved" sign for causing me great frustration.
