Normally I ignore signs that warn of monitoring by security systems because most systems are unreliable---they produce images with poor resolution or signals that are corrupted by inferior components. However, this sign put the fear of retribution in my head.

Everyone knows that a fiber-optic security system is state-of-the-art. Say good-bye to fuzzy images and false readings. Anyone messing with this technology is guaranteed to be recorded crisply and accurately. After seeing this I immediately---but casually!---returned to my car with my well-used crowbar, bolt cutters, and Swiss Army knife, and hid them under the seats. Only then did I enter the building. I hope no one saw me take this picture.
