While driving from Moab to Dead Horse Point State Park I encountered this grade crossing, the only one on Utah 313. The warning lights were flashing and the warning bell clanging as if a train were approaching, but there was no train. At first I thought it was a momentary anomaly, but the lights and the bell keep working without purpose. After reporting the problemto the Union Pacific Railroad's grade crossing hotline, I continued on my way.
