This bridge clearance “sign” protects a Union Pacific Railroad bridge in Kent, Washington. It caught my eye as I pedaled eastward on South 259th Street, (part of the Green River Trai).

I had come from the background, saw the hanging devices, decided to get a picture of them, turned around, and snapped this picture while sitting on my recumbent trike. My vantage point was at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view.

On the far side of the bridge the Interurban Trail crosses this street.
