I checked out the new birding gear of fellow Philippine Bird Photography e-Group member Ixi Mapua, and we gave her rig (400D + 300 f4 IS + Canon 1.4x TC) a test run at the foothills of Mt. Makiling. Here's a few shots from my hand held 20D + 500 f4 IS + Canon 1.4x TC.
