This bird, more commonly seen in cages as pets rather than flying free in the wild, joins my Top non-Endemics list because of its rarity in our islands. The beautiful colors of the bird, the clean background, the classic pose and the well exposed black and white head are the reasons why this beauty is included in my elite list.

Wonderful! I've only seen them in cages so far. It's so great to see one in the wild.
