I took this photo in the early evening hours of 1/28/15 with my Nikkor 500mm lens, handheld with no teleconverter. I've indicated what I believe is the approximate landing location of Apollo 11 some 45 years ago. I fully support space exploration and am disheartened that we now have to rely on Russia to visit the International Space Station. What would John F. Kennedy think of our progress if he were alive today ?
