One of the things that’s been a big feature of my recent life has been the speed at which I’ve wilted when under a bit of pressure.
I’ve found that today I’ve just come to a grinding halt because I’ve been scurrying around trying to prepare for my folks arriving tomorrow.
They’re worrying about me I think so they’re on their way down for the weekend to check out first hand how I am.
So, I’ve been tidying and making beds.
Now I’m very very tired and this is my best shot – a pic of a tulip flower that I forgot to water and this bloom’s foot wasn’t quite on the bottom of the vase and therefore was the first to need water and wilt. After I saw this and picked it out to photograph, I watered the rest and they’re still nice and perky and now reside on the windowsill in Mum and Dad’s bedroom.
I don’t know why I chose to black and white this image (although I DO really like it that way). It’s weird because the flower is actually a really bright yellow.
Last year - cream!
