In the garden, things are beginning to stir. Bluebell foliage is coming up. Daff bulbs are showing foliage and flower buds and these snowdrops are blooming. They are the tiny, fragile, delicate first indications of better times to come.

I think this one will get a rude awakening over the next few days as we have snow forecast so I hope this isn’t just a “flash in the pan”.

Just like Julie Andrews, they are among my favourite things and they gladden my heavy heart.
