I’m not having a good day – I was awake ‘fretting’ about work at 3.30am and up at the crack of sparrows making jam to stop myself from going insane……if the very act of making jam at dawn isn’t insane in itself.

However, some of my friends are having good days – Claz is starting a new life in a new home, in a new town and with a new, freshly inked divorce paper! I was between a rock and a hard place when I saw her husband doing things he didn’t ought to have done at a party although in the event, it’s turned out that Claz is happy to be newly divorced.

Mike and West are also celebrating new life – embryonic new life that’s been hoped for and wanted for a while. They’re thrilled and we’re thrilled for them.

I think I may just turn up on their doorstep and hope some of the stardust that’s flying around in their worlds may rub off on me…….
