....well, two actually!
We’ve had a ‘breakthrough day’ today – even though the plaster on the walls isn’t dry, we’ve moved back into our sitting room. The ceiling was dry so we painted it then moved in everything else and we’ll paint round it all.
We’d not really properly finished the shifting of furniture when this little hurricane turned up with his big brother (and Mummy and Daddy of course) and wreaked havoc for an hour before falling into the sleep of the just, one on each sofa. Meanwhile, Mummy and Daddy were in the dining room with us eating and drinking!
They charged round the garden in dressing gowns and slippers, looked at hens, played with the water in the water butt, stroked dogs and generally had a great time, before deciding that was enough excitement for one day and settling down on a sofa apiece to snooze until Mum and Dad were ready to go home.
It’s a tough life being a small boy!
Last year, I had a lesson in what really is a bad day....and as a result, learned to be thankful for my minor problems!
