I’m on another stop in my tour of my buddies! This time it’s Ginny, Nigel, Kelly and Emma who are my hosts. I love it here. They treat me like a part of the family and when I arrived from work, the two girls were here on their own so after I sympathised about Kelly’s cut finger, we progressed outside to play on the trampoline.
I have had such a hard time choosing a shot and here is today’s alternative! Anyway, this one shaded it because although there is some motion blur because of the low light, I like the ‘incredible flying woman’ feel to it.
When I arrived, their Rosie (wabbit, not dog) was sat in the middle of the lawn, where she’s been since Sunday – she was out for a run around and has steadfastly refused to go ‘home’ to her hutch ever since. I like that, a wabbit with attitude is a perfect addition to this lovely home.
Kelly is ‘in lurve’ at the moment, with her (relatively) new boyfriend – ah how sweet young love is. How I remember that feeling. I wonder if we ever forget our first love? I know I won’t. Mind you, after meeting said ‘first love’ recently, I must say, I realised that after 25 years I was really over it! Phew – it took me a long time to get there but eventually I laid my ghost to rest. Kelly also reaches the ripe old age of 17 this weekend.
Emma, subject of today’s alternative pic, is a natural in front of the camera. She’s so un-shy, it’s easy to photograph her. If you remember the doll’s house – that belongs to Emma.
I’ve had the tour of the ‘home-improvements’ since I was last here. Nigel eats DIY and has done so much work here, it’s amazing! I love being here if I can’t be at home.
Within an arm's length of desire?
