David told me off for yesterday's posting - he said it was too depressed and it would seem that others agreed judging by the comments people posted on the pic.
Today I'm feeling more upbeat - house still a nightmare, kitchen still a nightmare, work still a nightmare (4am start tomorrow to get to a client up north by 9am) BUT the thing I didn't mention yesterday was David. You know whatever happens it's the personal relationships that make life good or bad really. Since starting my relationship with David, whatever else has happened, it all pales into insignificance beside the One True Love I've found with him. Gushing as though that may seem, it's the simple truth.
Yesterday's excursion to Ascot to empty cupboards meant I had loads of 'new' kitchen stuff to put away, including these, Tracy's glasses - so named because someone else who once loved David gave them to him. In fact, he's done rather well out of his women - Tracy's glasses, Alana (who loved him but sadly for her, her love was unrequited) gave him Simpsons pants and socks, still worn on occasions. Cali's Animal watch is still worn regularly and now he has Linda's camera too.
Some may say it's a bit intimidating having all these reminders of loves past but I've come to realise they are part of the fabric of his life, what defines him and makes him the man he now is. Each one of those women has left something of themselves in his personality and that's what I love so they have all contributed to that.
