For years I admired the weeping pear from afar - I didn't have a garden and so couldn't grow one of my own. Now I have a big garden and I grow all sorts of things. My weeping pear has been established for five years or so but was butchered by a handyman/gardener about three years ago and is only just recovering. Poor thing.

I always think of it as a spring plant with its fabulous foliage and blossom but it is actually lovely all summer too.
