Even for a complete aethiest like me, St Pauls is a tremendous sight. Its scale is beyond comprehension. I remember going to Sydney and thinking the Opera House was much smaller than I expected - in the case of St Pauls it's the other way around. It's vast and you only realise when you see it 'in the flesh'
