For years, we have brought the dogs' bowls into the kitchen to make their supper. We buy their food in a month's supply at a time so there have always been loads of cans of dog food hanging around on the side in the utility room.

We don't have a utility room any more - it's become part of the super-duper new kitchen - now in its last stages of renovation.

So, we took a couple of units from the old kitchen, snaffled a bit of work surface from the new kitchen (not needed because there will be a marble slab in place of it) and 'Hey Presto' we have built a Dogstation Zebra in the garage - plenty of space for storing a month's supply of cans and plenty of room to make up their meals without taking up half of the kitchen.

Fantastic..............well, in truth it's not yet finished - David is going to cut the worksurface to fit and bolt it all to the wall tomorrow.....I've cheated by pretending it's finished when it's not! Sorry, still, we really did this much today!
