This is Toby. I have too few pictures of him but I like this one of us together when we were both young!

His daisy chain took me ages to make and he wore it for a couple of hours before rubbing it off on something. Toby was perpetually smiling - I've never met such a happy dog. How I miss him.

I think this must have been taken around 1987 - I'd had him since '86 so he would have been around 4-5 years old. Me? I was a sprightly 27!

By the way, it's one of only two pics that are taken with film rather than digitally. (The other one is the shot of Jersey taken from a plane.)
