For someone so completely uninterested in fashion I have one or two things that are important to me. One of these is shoe colour. They must be either black or red. Nothing else will do. Although I do own a pair of red shoes in my impoverished state, they are my wedding shoes and completely impractical where we live. In a bid to remedy the situation, I bought these – they were alone and unloved, having been through ebay twice with no bids. I bought them for £3. Well, I thought, if no-one else, not even an angel wants to wear them, then they’re for me.
