Of the 48 hours of this weekend, I have worked for 23 of them. 14 of the remainder, I was in bed for leaving me the princely total of 11 hours to do all of the washing, ironing, cooking and everything else that keeps us afloat. I am at the end of my tether. I am nearly at the end of my teaching career because I’m not sure I can work this hard.

What’s insane is I’m no shirker. I thrive on hard work but this is stupid, borderline torture. Whether I can get to the end of the next day is a problem that perplexes me every day.
