It’s been foggy and raining hard here for two days. Today the two have been joined by high winds. I’ve been no further than our back door and most of the day has been spent reading dull journal articles for my dissertation and writing the first parts of it.

I’m blue so these blue beads are a perfectly appropriate metaphor for my day. Having said that, even if I wasn’t blue I’d have struggled to find anything more interesting to shoot so you’d probably have got them anyway.
