I’ve had a lively day today, teaching for about 50% of the day and the remainder dashing around in class trying to help my new small people to learn lots and lots. I must say that they are a completely wonderful bunch. I did a dumb thing though – we were painting this afternoon and I decided that the best thing to do was switch off the computer. I didn’t realise I couldn’t switch it back on because I am not equipped with its password so the work I was intending to prepare for tomorrow was impossible. Pah. That means a very, very early start tomorrow.
As I left the building, the sun was coming out and with black sky behind, giving the graveyard a serene beauty. It was truly lovely. I ambled inside the gate, looked around and saw this silent and forgotten sight. For me, it was the most beautiful sight I could have seen at that moment. I could become a graveyard geek quite easily.
