16th March 2014 - marbleous clock

This is a rather crappy representation of a clock. The marbles symbolise the hours I’ve spent on this effin assignment today (and a similar number yesterday…and just about every waking hour for weeks now). You can see that they go right round the clock and carry on for a few more hours. I was up at 7am working and stopped at 10pm tonight.

You’ll notice there is a gap at 5pm – that’s because at 5pm I was undergoing a different kind of torture – yes, that’s right, watching my team get beaten by our arch-rivals from the other end of the Seven Sisters Road, the Arse.

Until I shot this pic, which I quite like considering the minimal effort that went into making it, I had done nothing I am proud of all day. I’ve still got 1000 more words in my assignment than I am allowed to submit. It won’t be ready to hand in tomorrow and so I’m going to spend tomorrow night working on it and with no sleep for worrying about breaking down or otherwise missing the deadline on Tuesday. I like to hand in a day early to stop myself from that torture but am going to fail spectacularly this time.

It’s now 11pm. I’ll manage 5 or 6 hours of sleep tonight and then I’ll have to go off to Uni to cram for the assessment that’s taking place tomorrow that I’ve not even looked at yet. Roll on Tuesday evening when I’ll be free of this one and can start work on the dissertation that’s got to be in in four weeks’ time.

Well, at least you haven't lost your marbles! Good luck over the next two days, then you'll have almost four weeks to worry about the next one!
