It’s not great art but you could say it’s great artistry. This photo contains the product of our summertime labour. These logs were chain sawed by DM, with me working as his labourer. It took us all summer, doing a few logs a day, to get to this point. The logs are stacked in front of the fire as it burns.
The common theme between the great artistry of the log cutting, which was a labour intense job and the lack of art in the photo, which has been “caused” by not having any time to shoot photos because of spending a long day doing Uni work rather than having fun! It’s so intense that no matter how hard I paddle, I can’t get up to date with my work. In fact, as I sit here typing this, I think it’d take me about 30-40 hours to get up to date and as I’m just about to go headlong into another week, that’s only going to get worse.
So, good labour over the summer and good labour today = good outcome from summer and tiredness from today.
