Spices are good. Not that I’d know. My cooking has become ever more mundane of late. Even things that I am making using the same recipes that I’ve used for yonks and yonks now taste bland and flat.

Today? Pasta bake. Tasteless, dull and uninteresting.

Still, at least the long-unused spice grinder is a bit better looking.
