As this 2 second long exposure was "cooking", the doorbell rang, heralding the arrival of friends for dinner. An impromptu dinner party, convened only yesterday, to celebrate er, well, nothing. No news. No good things (fine company excepted). No nothing. We just decided to make the most of Heurelho’s (Iain and Becks’ Spanish au pair) last weekend and use his babysitting skills so Iain and Becks could spend the evening away from home.

Lots of good conversation, wine and a little bit of dancing later, we went to bed happy!
