It’s been a long and extremely arduous week. I’ve worked every day and done an evening shift each evening as well. In both jobs defying gravity has been an essential part of the role. Somehow I am unable to do this when it comes to paint and this means that my evening job has been fraught with difficulties.. No matter how hard I try, I always end up coated in paint and so does the floor. DM has been painting tonight and he didn’t even bother to get out of his work (day job) clothes and they, along with him, came out completely unscathed. I, on the other hand, got splatted from head to foot.

So, it was with a heavy heart that I came home knowing we had no hot water and therefore would end up washing the paint off in cold water. Therefore I make no apologies for this shot – either in terms of content or composition.I have a feeling that I may be trying and failing to defy gravity in another way later.

I’m going to get a half-day holiday tomorrow. Whooppeeeeeeeee…
