We hit on a plan this morning that was better for some of us than others. DM and I sent the folks off to shop at Trago Mills while we “finished the sink installation” – hmmmmm. Ha ha again. By lunchtime, when the folks returned, we’d managed to get the sink in its slot but with no plumbing or any other “stuff” sorted.
So, Mum, Dad and I went off for the afternoon to Pine Ridge Gardens, a lovely Cornish garden at St Austell. Here I photographed this droplet on the top of a rhododendron. We had a lovely time ambling about, chatting to the owners and generally having a fine old time.
Poor old DM on the other hand spent his afternoon with his head in a cupboard trying to fix pipework.
We got home. Did we have a functioning sink? Nope. We had a sink with a non-leaky waste system but a completely “leaking like a sieve” water supply.
Another day in the life of a life with no sink. Thank heavens I escaped it for some of the day…….poor old DM – I don’t think he’s in the pink.
