Fallow Deer, Phoenix Park

The Phoenix Park has been a home for fallow deer since 1662. The origin of the park dates back to the 12th century. It was opened to the general public by Lord Chesterfield in 1745. It lies within Dublin City limits, covers 1,752 acres and is the largest urban park in Europe.
