Tree Spirits Talking

Trees, they tell so much - les arbres, ils racontent beaucoup - bomen, ze zeggen zoveel

Through dreaming we reflect our experiences, emotions, fantasies, triumphs and misfortunes and give everything a place in our life. Wandering around in nature, that one detail, that precise image expresses emotion, without using one word or by evoking a thousands of words. . Which detail emerges, which image we see is different for everybody of us because it comes from the inside. The longer and more intense you look, the more you see. It is almost sacred. I discovered a life that has a lot of forms and shapes. It may be warm, lovely, loving, malevolent, mysterious, funny, threatening, playful. Everything has a place.
While I focused on trees, I saw such a diversity of species, a diversity of what they showed me from themselves: sometimes sweet, sometimes erotic, sometimes harsh, close to death. Not only sweet images came up. Also harshness and cruelty showed up.

lieve, these are truly amazing and remind me of walking to work for some years through a small wooded park - the changes over the year in these trees were wonderful. thank you for sharing these images - as you say some sweet and harsh - as life.
