Porto Rico (ou Puerto Rico), la plus orientale et la plus petite des Grandes Antilles, est une superbe destination ornithologique, abritant 15 espèces endémiques (16 selon Herbert Raffaele et al dans "Birds of the West Indies"), dont l'emblême de l'île, l'Amazone de Porto Rico (Amazona vittata). /

Puerto Rico, easternmost and smallest of the Greater Antilles, is an exciting birding destination, harboring 15 species of birds found nowhere else and a large number of more widespread but attracting Caribbean species.
